Greetings everyone!
It's been quite a while since I've written a general update about what's been going on with the spa, the products, and plans in the works. Well, it's an exciting time. The beginning of this year has really been wonderful!
The first spa night of the year in January was a huge success! After so long of drawing very small crowds, I finally had an overwhelming number of people at the door wanting to partake in services and have the little slice of heaven we provide. It was great!
And then there was the Chocolate Spa at the Chocolate Fest. That was yet another awesome experience. We set up underneath a banana leaf hut in a corner of the Sweet House of the Garfield Park Conservatory and got started doling out relaxation and refreshment. We performed chocolate milk facials in a quiet nook underneath the banana trees. Our foot and hand massage treatments we performed right underneath our banana leaf hut and we even had massages going on underneath vanilla and eucalyptus vines and trees. Over the course of both days, we met and serviced tons of people and they all left happier, more at peace, a bit more refreshed, and ready for a bit more chocolate:).
The request for spa parties and spa events similiar to the ones I host at the Conservatory have been rising as well and we're developing a healthy flow of business and activity into the spring months and beyond! It's all very exciting!
I have so many plans for the future so definitely be on the lookout for all types of things to come - spa party packages, special classes, new products, new spa day locales and more!
